Here is another example of a full eCommerce solution. This site is based on the excellent WordPress CMS platform so that the client can update, edit and manage the site form any web browser or iPhone anywhere in the world.

We have integrated PayPal to handle the payments securely and the client has also opted to have manual payments for customers wishing to purchase on invoice. It is also possible to integrate Google Checkout.

The website takes orders, handles stock control, takes payment, issues invoices and creates packing/shipping notes. All the site manager needs to do is log-in and he is presented with the sales records and inventory control.

We use a customised version of WP-Commerce to run the site which is highly customisable and scalable so that it can quickly and cost effectively be used on any eCommerce website.

Our client has a magazine style information site and wanted a blog site to place on an unused URL.

WordPress is the perfect platform for this as it can handle, not just a blog, but a full CMS system too allowing the user to update the blog and pages from any browser or even a mobile phone.

The theme in this case needed to be clean with an environmental tilt. We used our custom SEO plug-ins with this site to enable clean search engine optimised code to be output.

Zest Telecom are a new young telecommunication company based in Ipswich.

Their requirements were quite basic. A magazine style website with very little scrolling and easy to navigate. They wanted to use my transparent navigation and to use some “zesty” images and colours.

My initial mock up was pretty much the final design. Just a few changes needed which shows that we were definitely reading from the same song sheet.

The site is run on the WordPress platform, which allows for a blog, but in the first instance, it was not deemed to be a requirement. It could, however, be added at a later date very easily.

CoastalNet are a new business networking organisation based in Suffolk who required a website with Facebook type functionality so as to allow their members to be able to have their own blogs and have the ability to communicate within the group, set up groups and to network on-line.

This website runs on the WordPress Multi User platform called WordPress MU. Various WordPress plug-ins have been used to add the required functionality.

The website is able to handle bookings for networking meetings and can collect payment and issue invoices.

This website is based on the 916px grid system and is fully widgetised so that WordPress plug-ins can be used anywhere within the 3 column display.

The client came to us originally as an SEO enquiry. They had been dealing with a company based in Scotland specialising in inbound link generation, however, they were a bit too lackadaisical in their approach and the website was issued a penalty by Google and banished to the depths of the Google search results.

The phrase Solar Hot Water had been overused and whilst we are working on recovering this phrase we have achieved good rankings. The site now ranks well for phrases like “solar water heating Suffolk”, “solar water heating Essex”, “solar water heating installers” etc and we are now concentrating on Solar Panels.

We have built a fully optimised website for Aztec, which is now ranking well for general Solar phrases.
